Santa is known to make stops around the world by sleigh, by helicopter, and now kids can see Santa arrive by fire truck to brunch on Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Hart Community Centre.

The 11th annual Muscular Dystrophy Canada Pancake Brunch with Santa takes place from 9 a.m. to noon.

"Everyone can come and enjoy a buffet pancake brunch," said Susan Andrist, past president of the northern chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

"Santa will arrive at about 10:30 a.m., escorted by Prince George's finest heroes and in the meantime the Shrine clowns will greet and entertain the children and Second Kelly Road Path Finders will paint faces. The Country Cuzzins will sing Christmas songs."

The children will rush to the door as Santa arrives by fire truck, then they follow him to his special chair and line up to get their one-on-one time with him to pass along their Christmas wishes and get a treat, added Andrist.

"The Hart Community Centre volunteers are gracious enough to do all the cooking and serving and they always make sure everyone has a wonderful time," Andrist said.

Many door prizes will be given away including gift certificates from Costco and Hart Home Hardware.

Everyone is welcome. Admission is $10 for adults, children under 8 are $5, family of four is $25.
