Comedy, coffee and chocolate are featured in this triple-threat debut for Nechako Community Theatrics at Art Space March 31.

Premiering Embracing the Darkness, the evening is filled with one acts, skits and monologues while audience members sip a coffee and nibble chocolate goodies.

"We're thrilled to be putting on this show," said Daniel Yule, member of the theatre club. "Who can say no to a combination of the three Cs - comedy, coffee and chocolate?"

A few alumni of Prince George Theatre Workshop Society recently formed the Nechako Community Theatrics theatre group.

"We believe that community theatre is an important part of Prince George," said Yule. "We want to get people excited about local theatre and this show is our coming out party."

Anyone interested in becoming part of the group can visit www.pgtheatre.ca.

"If you're passionate about theatre, we want to hear from you," said Yule.

The show goes at Art Space, above Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue at 7 p.m. Doors at 6:30. tickets are $20 each at Books & Co. or at the door.
