It's all about loving music.
Sing Your Heart Out is the Bel Canto Choirs' celebration of what they love, taking place Saturday afternoon at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
Melanie Nicol, who became artistic director in January, put together this tribute to music with music.
"Every song that's sung is either about music or music being a celebration, music in general or a piece that the kids just really love to sing," said Nicol. "This is going to be a big celebration."
Bel Canto has three choirs, including the 12-member Northern Voices for adults, the Youth Choir, which is 35 members strong and the Children's Choir has about 20 members.
"There will be one mass piece and then there will be combinations of the Youth and Children's Choir singing together, the Youth and Northern Voices will sing together," said Nicol. "There will also be small groups singing where just the gentlemen of the Youth Choir will perform as well as just the ladies of the Youth Choir and some of our graduating Youth will also be showcased."
The show will feature show tunes like There's No Business Like Show Business, some world music, like Yo Le Canto and some spiritual pieces, including How Can I Keep From Singing as well as Make a Joyful Noise, which is a very upbeat song praising music.
The Children's Choir will perform Latin piece, Cantate Domino and Sing Me A Song, which Nicol said is a kind of a party song.
"This will be a very nice culmination of a very busy term," said Nicol, recalling the Youth Choir's trip to Prague last month where they performed in the Prague Spring International Music Festival. "We are going back and celebrating why we do this and that's because we love music."
Sing Your Heart Out is presented at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 each, available at Studio 2880 by calling 250-563-2880 or at the door.
