The Bel Canto Youth Choir is now accepting people 14 to 25 years old and encouraging new singers to join in January for its 30th year in Prince George.
The Youth Choir meets every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 3.
After Bel Canto's A Splash of Spring concert April 14, singers will be attending the Whistler Con Brio music festival from April 26 to 29. They will also participate in the Prince George Music Festival this spring.
The children's choir, which also participates in the Prince George Music Festival and the spring concert, is also accepting new singers aged five to 13 for the January term. This group meets Wednesdays at Zion Lutheran Church at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Registration begins at 5 p.m. on Jan. 4.
Northern Voices is an adult choir singing under the direction of Barb Parker and meets eight weeks per term, performing in biannual concerts. Spaces are available for anyone interested.
