The Prince George Symphony and Out of Alba are partnering to present a Celtic symphony with the Old Time Fiddlers Saturday, Jan. 26 at Vanier Hall, called Lord of the Dance.

Symphony musical director, Kevin Zakresky, offers up this new sound for the orchestra, selecting an evening of Celtic music including Greensleeves, Danny Boy and Copeland's Appalachian Spring.

Out of Alba is Prince George's premier Celtic band, a quintet that has been delighting their audiences for more than 17 years. Members include Irishman Alan O'Reilly, Canadian Jim Sayle, American Welsh Carolyn Kelly and two Scots, Margaret and Jim Coyle.

"I grew up with Out of Alba and performing with them has been a lifelong dream," said Zakresky.

Tickets at Studio 2880 and the PGSO office.
