She's got an eye for talent and Ann Forry, a Vancouver casting director, is back in Prince George, always looking for that super-star quality.
Forry has discovered major stars like Erin Karpluk, star of Being Erika, who won a Gemini Award for best actress and casts for national commercials and major films.
Forry is teaching acting workshops for youth and adults at the Playhouse from October 12 to 14.
The first youth workshop was sold out immediately, and there's another one scheduled for those who need a chance to shine.
The adult workshops include an introductory class as well as a scene study suitable for both beginner and experienced actors.
Forry has recently cast television commercials for companies such as Staples, HP, Kal Tire, B.C. Tourism and Canfor, as well as celebrating the great success of the feature film American Mary, which has been picked up by Universal Pictures for worldwide distribution.
With more than thirty features under Forry's belt and four new feature films in development, Forry said it's a great time to spend some time with her.
