In the recent past, The Prince George Citizen offered readers weekly installments of Caribou Joe, in which a caribou-hunting bootlegger from Spuzzum, B.C. was featured every Tuesday.
The local author of the book, Leonard Frazer, has compiled the chapters, art work and photographs into a paperback where fans of the character can now revisit the historical adventures.
Fans can find the book, Caribou Joe and the Building of the Grand Trunk Pacific, at the Central Interior Railway and Forestry Museum, Exploration Place and Books & Company.
