Square dancers promenade into Prince George this weekend from all over the province.
The Northern Twisters host their 55th Annual Spring Fling Jamboree at the Hart Pioneer Centre on Friday and Saturday, with special guest caller Daryl Clendenin coming in from Portland, Oregon for the occasion.
"If you know how to square dance, come on out and join us," said Northern Twisters spokesman Gys Koops. "If you don't know how, you can come watch and if you are interested, we have new classes starting in September."
Also part of the jamboree is a caller's school for those interested in being the musical quarterback of any square dance event.
Attendees are already confirmed from Vancouver, Kelowna, Dawson Creek and other locations. The events start at 7:30 p.m. each night, and special appearances by the square dancers involved will also be made elsewhere in the city.
