BCNE looking for local performers

The next stage in your entertainment career might just be front and centre at the fair. The BC Northern Exhibition (BCNE) put out the call Wednesday for local performers interested in the major summer event.

The next stage in your entertainment career might just be front and centre at the fair.

The BC Northern Exhibition (BCNE) put out the call Wednesday for local performers interested in the major summer event.

"We are currently looking for local entertainment to fill our community stage August 18th to the 21st," said a statement from the fair's office. "If you or someone you know would like to perform please head over to our website (www.bcne.ca) or come on down to the BCNE office and fill our entertainment package." The online form is available under the "Applications" heading on the fair's home page.

Over the duration of the BCNE the fair hosts a number of music acts and performances from a wide variety of artists. In the past the fair has had country, rock, electronic DJs, comedians and many more.

For any information, call the BCNE at 250-563-4096.

The same number and website is where anyone interested in volunteering for the BCNE can also get involved.
