A B.C. author with deep roots in the northern half of the province will be holding a pair of book signings in Prince George in August.

Lorna Carleton will be in town promoting her fourth novel, Dragons of the Past – the latest book in her fantasy/sci-fi Dragons of Nibiru series. Carleton currently calls West Kelowna home, but spent 25 years in northern B.C., living in Prince George, Quesnel, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John and Dawson Creek.

“I still have family in the area that I visit whenever I am in town…I hope to move back in a few years after retirement,” Carleton said in an email.

Carleton will hold a book signing at Books and Company on Aug. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and at Coles in Pine Centre Mall on Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
