Artists needed for third annual Faces of Richmond event.

A Richmond volunteer organization is calling artists to join the third annual Faces of Richmond event this year.

The Community Arts Council of Richmond invites artists to listen to a Richmond senior's story and paint a portrait of them.

Artists will each be given a photo of a senior participant and a sample clip of an interview with the senior.

An honorarium will be provided to the artist for participating in the event.

Portraits will then be displayed in an exhibit at the Minoru Centre for Active Living to celebrate BC Seniors Week in June.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 27 and can be sent to [email protected]
