The Little Prince is a wood-burning, steam-emitting miniature locomotive that never fails to delight the hearts of people who climb on board for a ride on the 2.2- kilometre track through Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park.
It was one of five engines brought to the city in 1912 on a paddlewheeler boat up the Fraser River and it was used to ferry supplies and labourers used to complete the Grand Trunk Railway, Canada's first transcontinental rail line.
Hours of operation are Thursdays (noon-7 p.m.) and Saturdays (noon-4 p.m.) .
Operated by museum staff from The Exploration Place, the train will also be taking trips through the park on statutory holidays throughout the summer from noon-4 p.m.
