Photos of Cody Alan Legebokoff and his truck at the time of his arrest were presented as evidence this morning as the trial for the man accused of murdering three women and a teenage girl entered its third day.

Taken late in the night of Nov. 27, 2010, they show Legebokoff wearing a black sweater with a Carhartt logo across the front and, despite the winter weather, a pair of plaid shorts. Exterior and interior shots of the black GMC Sierra pickup truck he was driving when it was pulled over were also shown.

As well, Const. Aaron Kehler, the Fort St. James RCMP officer who pulled Legebokoff over for speeding along Highway 27, showed the court the skater-type runners Legebokoff was wearing at the time, as well as a multi tool and a pipe wrench seized at the scene.

The mother of Loren Donn Leslie, whose body was found nearby, was in tears at the sight.

Const. Kanwelpreet Sidhu, who arrested Legebokoff on the first of four murder charges he is now facing, began his testimony this morning and will continue this afternoon at the Prince George courthouse.

As in the first two days, about 30 family and friends of the victims were in the gallery to hear the testimony, as are eight members of the local and out-of-town media.

Sheriffs are conducting security checks before allowing anyone to enter the courtroom.
