As they wrap up 50 years as a band, ZZ Top is announcing a tour that includes Kamloops.
The trio, famous for their beards (or being a Beard with no beard), has had a long career with plenty of classic rock hits like "Sharp Dressed Man" and "La Grange." Locals will be able to hear it all live on May 3 at the Sandman Centre.

They'll be bringing a pretty famous opening act as well, with Cheap Trick, who aren't much younger. They've had their own series of classic rock hits like "Dream Police" and "Surrender."
Tickets to see the two classic rock acts range from $79.50 to $99.50, plus fees and taxes. They go on sale this Friday (Dec. 20), at 10 a.m. (Could be a great last-minute Christmas gift for dad or mom.)
