A young girl's dream of going to Disneyland hit a roadblock this week when someone trashed her plant sale.
“Woke up today (April 16) to see that the plant sale my daughter spent hours on has been destroyed. To who ever felt the need to wreck my daughter's stand, you need help. Lily has been saving for Disneyland with her plant sales. What kind of person would do something like this. Makes me sick to think that there are people like that out there,” said a post by Jonnie McBride on Facebook.
As the incident became known, people reached out to the Armstrong family with offers of help.
Many wanted to buy plants from the girl and others offered to provide new plants that Lily could sell.
Some even offered to donate to the Disney fund.
Others wondered if the stand was destroyed by animals, and not people.
