Spring Break activities at Prince George Library

Look to the Prince George Public Library for plenty of Spring Break activities to do with the whole family.

The Prince George Public Library might not be the first place you think about when it comes to looking for exciting things to do during Spring Break so you may be surprised to learn about the full schedule of free drop-in events on their roster between March 13 and 24.

Take a look.

The Prince George Conservatory of Music is hosting a free violin concert Monday, March 13 at the main branch at 11:30 a.m. Suitable for all ages. The concert features violin teachers Allison Bell and Katherine Peter.

Family Trivia Challenge takes place Wednesday, March 15 from noon to 1 p.m. at the main branch and is suitable for all ages, while there’s also an event Wednesday, March 22 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Nechako Branch in the Hart.

There’s a Pokemon Party on Thursday, March 16 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the main branch for ages five to 12.

Beach Boogie is on Friday, March 17 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The Boogie’s back and this time it’s a beach party, Dress in your coolest warm weather attire and brush on your limbo skills because the library’s going tropical at the main branch. Suitable for all ages.

Family Movie Matinees are Tuesdays, March 14 and 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at both branches. Suitable for all ages.

Family Games Afternoon takes place Thursday, March 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at both branches. Suitable for all ages.

Author Talks see participants meet some of their favourite youth authors in person and learn about their process. Monday, March 20 the author is Tracey Brown and on Friday, March 24 the author is Rhonda Girard. Each talk begins at 10:30 a.m. at the main branch. Suitable for all ages.
