The RCMP are asking the public’s help to locate a man who went missing in Saik’uz, south of Vanderhoof, on Feb. 26.
Jay Preston Raphael, 27, was last seen walking away from a home in Saik’uz, according to Vanderhoof RCMP.
“Raphael has not been seen since and his family and friends are concerned for his wellbeing as this is out of character for him,” an RCMP statement said.
Raphael is described as an Indigenous man standing five-foot-nine, weighing 143 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, black runners and a baseball hat.
RCMP as asking anyone with dash cameras who was in the area of Saik’uz on Feb. 26 around 4 a.m. to check their recordings for possible sightings of Raphael.
