Victoria police are looking for a woman who threw a photographer’s camera bag into a pond at Beacon Hill Park on Tuesday.
The female suspect is accused of committing mischief under $5,000.
Police said the photographer was taking pictures of birds in the park and was confronted by a woman. Words were exchanged between the two and the woman ended up throwing the victim’s camera bag into a nearby pond.
The camera case contained a camera and several other accessories valued at about $3,000, police said.
The victim was able to snap a picture of the suspect before she left the area.
