Heat is on the way for PG

Prince George weather is heading for a wild mood swing.

On Wednesday, the warm air that’s enveloped the southern half of the province will make its way up through the central Interior and we’re heading high of 28C, which will make it the hottest day so far in 2025.

If you like warmth and sunshine, get out and enjoy it on Wednesday because it won’t last.

Clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers are in store for Thursday with a daytime high of 18C and a near-freezing low of 1C.

Cloudy skies will hang over the city most of Friday with a high of 17C and a low of 5 C expected but no rain is forecast.

Sun will return for the weekend with highs of 18C  Saturday and 17C on Sunday, with lows in the 4-5 C range both days.

Today’s high is expected to hit 21C, with a low of 8C.
