B.C. RCMP has stepped up its traffic enforcement efforts with COVID-19 emptying out local roadways.

On Saturday (April 18), Burnaby traffic officers caught one driver with multiple infractions.

First, the driver was nailed for excessive speeding, which means getting their vehicle towed and impounded for seven days, and having to pay a ticket of at least $368 depending on how much over the speed limit they were driving.

The driver didn’t have a valid driver’s licence on them, but they did, however, have enough cannabis on them to violate the law.

They were also an ‘N’ driver who hadn’t posted the ‘N’ sign on their vehicle.
