In an online poll, the Citizen asked readers: Do you think the campfire ban should have been lifted in Prince George and Northern B.C.?

Here are the results:

112 votes (16%) - Yes, it's nowhere near as hot and dry here as it is down south.

105 votes (15%) - Maybe, but it should be back on if the hot weather continues.

19 votes (3%) - Not sure.

479 votes (67%) - No, it's too soon, wait until September.

There were 715 votes cast when the poll was on the website from Aug. 13 to 19.
