Despite the risk of skunk smell and garbage odours, Squamish locals put on a daring rescue to save a skunk that got its head stuck in a dumpster.
(via District of Squamish)“The skunk’s head was lubricated and wiggled out of the dumpster,” reads a Facebook post from the District of Squamish. “The skunk was then successfully placed into a pet carrier and later released within the area it was found.”
The hole in the dumpster is being sealed by Green For Life staff, the District says.
