A 42-year-old Burnaby man has been charged with 12 counts of burglary after a string of break-ins targeting small businesses in North Vancouver, Delta, White Rock and Vancouver.
North Vancouver RCMP’s uniformed crime reduction team followed a trail of evidence from 11 break-ins between Sept. 1, 2018 and Jan. 2 2019, cooperating and sharing information with other RCMP detachments and municipal agencies, including Vancouver Police and Delta Police, according to a police news release.
The culprit targeted businesses that were closed for the night, according to police.
On Jan. 2, Gordon Vincent Gladstone was arrested during a break-in in progress in Vancouver, according to North Van RCMP.
He has now been charged with 12 counts of burglary.
He remains in custody, and his next court appearance is April 1.
