Active cases of COVID-19 in Northern stood at 29, according to B.C. Centre for Disease Control numbers issued Thursday, up one from the day before.
Two of them were in critical care.
No new deaths were reported in Northern Health. One was recorded in Interior Health raising the total for B.C. to 1,760.
Looking at other health regions, Vancouver Coastal was home to 242 active cases, Fraser to 176, Interior to 175 and Vancouver Island to 20. In all, there were 649 active cases, including 11 from out of province.
As of Thursday, 78.4 per cent (3,635,811) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 40 per cent (1,854,387) received their second dose.
Regionally, 251,964 doses have administered by Northern Health, up 5,280 from the day before. 160,775 were first doses, up 736 from the day before, and 91,189 were second, up 4,724.
The numbers do not include doses issued by the First Nations Health Authority.
