A lottery player who purchased a Lotto 6/49 ticket in B.C. is $16 million richer after matching all six numbers to win last night’s jackpot (April 15).
The single-winning Lotto 6/49 ticket was the only winner from across Canada to win the jackpot of $16,460,052.50 and was sold in Surrey.
The BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) will announce the specific retail location once the winner has come forward to claim the life-changing prize.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BCLC encourages the player who purchased the winning Lotto 6/49 ticket to contact BCLC Customer Support at 1-866-815-0222 to begin the alternate prize-claim process via telephone.
Earlier this week, following the alternate prize-claim process, BCLC paid Coldstream’s Randall McDuff with his Guaranteed Prize of $1 million from the March 28 Lotto 6/49 draw.
