Two temporary food gardens will be appearing in Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre parking lot to benefit local food charities starting Thursday, April 8.
One of the gardens will be located near the Lansdowne Canada Line Station and the other in the parking lot closest to the entrance of T&T Supermarket.
Victory Gardens staff will be at the gardens every week to tend to the crops.
Once the produce is harvested, the Richmond Food Security Society will distribute it to local food charities.
The planter gardens will be at Lansdowne Centre until September 2021.
