The sold-out event, organized by the Delta Firefighters and presented by Realco Properties, brought together businesses, community members, and esteemed figures for an evening of elegance and goodwill.

“The overwhelming support shown by our community truly highlights the generosity and compassion that define Delta,” said Mayor George Harvie.

Delta Firefighters president Mike McMillan echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of the cause.

“The funds raised will significantly contribute to the Delta Firefighters Healthy Snack Program, which plays a vital role in ensuring a brighter future for our children,” said McMillan.

The event, hosted by the talented Erin Cebula, showcased a mesmerizing performance by Juno-nominated singer Warren Dean Flandez, enhancing the evening’s allure and entertainment with a dynamic ensemble of a band, choir, and dancers.

The impressive final fundraising amount (still being finalized) underscored the unity and generosity of Delta’s residents and businesses, making the evening a resounding success. Warren Balzer, a key figure behind the Healthy Snack Program, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Proper nutrition is crucial for a child’s development, and with this support, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of many children in our community.”
