A problem household appears to have popped up in southwest Prince George.

Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant on a 6600-block Westmount Drive home last Friday as part of investigation into possible identity theft.

Two people were arrested and one of them, Vanessa Leona Clarke, 43, has since been charged with two fraud-related counts and two counts of breaching probation and remains in custody.

Under a previous name, Vanesssa Leona Jordan, she was sentenced in September 2022 to time served and one year probation for three fraud related counts and possessing stolen property, from December 2021 and February 22 incidents in Dawson Creek.

The other person was released without charge.

Police said the home was also the subject of a search warrant on February 14 and that a large quantity of suspected cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia was seized. One person was arrested and was later released pending the full results of the investigation

The North District RCMP emergency response team was deployed on both occasions over concern there could be violence, Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said in a statement issued Thursday.
