'Heaven on earth': Lower Mainland lake cabin listed for $219,000

Pitt Lake is the second-biggest lake in the Metro Vancouver area and, according to Wikipedia, is one of the few tidal lakes in the world.

A piece of recreational property on Pitt Lake, north of Pitt Meadows, has come up for sale for the modest price of $219,000.

Equipped with three bedrooms, the listing mentions that it's both "stunning and affordable," and that the "seller may offer some financing."

Pitt Lake is the second-biggest lake in the Metro Vancouver area and, according to Wikipedia, is one of the few tidal lakes in the world.

Current owner Jacqueline says the new owner might "feel like [they are] somewhere remote in Alaska," after driving 40 minutes from Vancouver to the lake, then embarking on a 30-minute boat ride up the lake. She calls it "Pitt Lake Paradise," and "Heaven on Earth."

Jacqueline says she's "sadly" letting go of the property because she's moving back to Europe.
