Drugs, cash and four replica firearms were found when the RCMP used a search warrant to enter a residence on the 300 block of Nicholson Street Monday.

Police seized about 50 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 60 grams of suspected fentanyl, four replica firearms, ammunition, $2,000 in cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia from the residence.

This represents significant enforcement action taken against those trafficking drugs in our community. It was the second time in May that a search warrant was executed at this residence in relation to suspected criminal behaviour, stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP.

A man wanted on several warrants was arrested, then released with conditions.

Two other people were arrested but later released. RCMP report that any potential charges laid against them will come after a lab analysis of materials seized.

This investigation is ongoing.
