Coastal GasLink has donated $25,000 to the Spruce City Wildlife Association's hatchery and salmon support program.

“Our Salmon Support Team is excited to receive this support. This will help us to continue to strategically rebuild some stocks in the Upper and Mid Fraser” said SCWA stock rebuilding programs director Dustin Snyder said in a statement issued Monday.

The SCWA currently is holding about 75,000 eggs from brood capture this year, including the Nechako and Bowron rivers, as well as Swift Creek.
