The City of Prince George has issued public notices of its intention to dispose of four different parcels of public land.

The notices are the first, following the city’s announcement on Feb. 17 that an internal investigation found that the city failed to follow the requirement for public notice outlined in the B.C. Community Charter, regarding the sale of land at 4500 Ospika Blvd. to The Hub Collection Ltd.

According to the new notices, the city intends to sell a portion of a lot located at 4505 Ospika Blvd. to Panorama Ospika Development Ltd. in exchange for a small portion of 4443 Ospika Blvd., located at the northwest corner of Ospika and Tyner Boulevards, and $70,000. According to BC Assessment, 4505 Ospika Blvd. was valued at $4,900 in the 2023 assessment.

The city also intends to sell 2808 Wildwood Cres. to Blueberry Property Management Inc. for $94,000. The 9201 sq. foot vacant lot was assessed at $97,700 in the 2023 assessment.

Also for sale is a small section of Stirling Park. The city intends to sell the land, located immediately behind 932 Stirling Dr., to Angus and Linda McLeod for $9,646.36.

The city is also releasing a road dedication off of Boundary Road to the Prince George Global Logistics Park Inc., in exchange for a road dedication north of the site.
