Banff film fest coming to P.G.

The Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival World Tour is coming to Prince George on Sept. 24.

The 2019 edition of the well-known film festival takes place in Banff from Oct. 26 to Nov. 3. However, Prince George residents who missed the festival last year will be treated to a selection of films from 2018.

Prince George is one of 550 locations in 40 countries hosting the 2018-19 festival world tour.

The local event is a fundraiser for the Cranbrook Hill Greenway Society. Tickets are $20, and are available at Stride and Glide and Books and Co.

The show starts at 7 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the Prince George Playhouse.
