Though the heavy snowfall that blanketed Vancouver Monday night (Dec. 19) had significantly affected transportation across the city, Vancouverites still made the best of it.
Many travellers were left stranded at YVR airport after numerous flights were cancelled due to the heavy snowfall, and drivers faced dangerous road conditions on their commutes. Even public transit experienced significant delays and disruptions.
Despite the chaos that the white dusting caused on ground level, Vancouver sure looks mesmerizing from space.
With a winter wonderland outside, locals got creative with ways to go about the snow while some (and their furry friends) simply had fun in the white powder.
Since getting to the slopes didn't make for an easy drive, several Vancouverites took to skiing down the streets instead.
