The Dawson Creek RCMP say they’re continuing to investigate the disappearance of 24-year old Cole Robert Hosack, last seen on Dec. 31, 2023.

The Dawson Creek RCMP say they’re continuing to investigate the disappearance of 24-year old Cole Robert Hosack, last seen on Dec. 31, 2023.

A missing persons report was received on Jan 1, 2024, and friends of Hosack told police that he was last seen around 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, leaving Lonestar Nightlife on Alaska Avenue in Dawson Creek.

“While efforts to locate Cole continue, police are looking to the public for information that may help further the investigation,” they noted.

Police are also asking anyone who may have witnessed a fight outside Lonestar that occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m., Dec. 31, 2023, and 12:30 a.m., Jan. 1, 2024, to contact the detachment.

Hosack is not from Dawson Creek and was expected to leave for Edmonton on January 5, 2024, for new employment. A search for Hosack by friends and family was planned for Jan. 7, but cancelled due to the cold weather and advice from RCMP not to contaminate the search area, according to a social media post.

Hosack is described as Caucasian with brown hair, 5'11'', and has several tattoos, including a rose tattoo on his right temple, CLXXXV tattoo on his left temple, an owl tattoo on his neck, and a full sleeve on his right arm.

Anyone with information can call the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
