RCMP investigating suspicious northern B.C. death

Fort St. John RCMP say they were called to a motor vehicle incident in the Charlie Lake area on Dec. 6, where they found a deceased man, and have launched an investigation into the suspicious death.

The Fort St. John RCMP say they were called to a motor vehicle incident at Thompson Road near Highway 29 in the Charlie Lake area on Dec. 6 around 6:09 p.m. 

A deceased man was located upon their arrival, say RCMP, who determined the circumstances surrounding the death to be suspicious. An investigation into the cause of death is underway.

RCMP are seeking information or witnesses to any suspicious circumstances observed in the area of Highway 29 from Bear Flats through to Highway 97 on Dec. 6 between 4 p.m. to midnight. Video surveillance or dash cam footage is also sought by police if available.
