The northbound lanes are still closed. The estimated time of reopening is 1 p.m., according to Drive B.C.

According to a tweet from VSA Highway Maintenance, the estimated time of reopening is 1 p.m.

Traffic headed up the Coquihalla is at a standstill right now south of Merritt.
Drive B.C. says there's a vehicle incident at Highway 5's intersection with Comstock Road, one that has stopped traffic northbound 9 kilometres south of Merritt. The incident was first reported by the highways alert system around 10:30 a.m.
There is currently no estimated time of reopening.
Drive B.C. expects to post an update about the situation at 12:15 p.m.
