The investigation is continuing into the attempted murder of an individual shot while staying at an apartment on Dec. 12.
Parties involved with the Dec. 12, 2023 shooting incident at the Signature Point Apartments are believed to connected to the ongoing B.C. gang conflict, says the Fort St. John RCMP Serious Crime Unit.
The investigation is continuing into the attempted murder of an individual shot while staying at an apartment at 11203 105th Avenue, they added, noting the motive is not yet clear.
After public assistance, a blue Subaru Forester believed to have been the vehicle used by the suspect(s) to depart the scene, was located as of Dec. 30, 2023, abandoned at a lease site near Charlie Lake.
The RCMP said they would like to thank the public for their assistance in the investigation and are encouraging anyone with additional information to contact the Fort St John detachment at 250-787-8100.
