The Fort St. John RCMP say they've arrested a break and enter suspect, following a March 13 report of a residential break and enter in the area of 9100 block of 89th Avenue.
"Suspects gained entrance by breaking a window and then stole jewellery, vehicle keys, cash and gift cards," notes a press release.
Frontline police officers attended the residence and obtained evidence pointing to a potential suspect, arresting two people at the suspect's residence.
A search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s residence, with RCMP recovering a significant portion of the items stolen along with a small amount of ammunition which was seized.
The suspects have since been released, one suspect has a future court date of May 27, 2024.
"The name is not being released as charges have not yet been approved," noted RCMP.
