The Peace River Regional District is seeking feedback and engagement on a master plan for the North Peace Regional Park, located at 15177 Rose Prairie Road. The site is home to the North Peace Fall Fair, which is owned by the PRRD and operated through an agreement by the North Peace Fall Fair Society
"The North Peace Regional Park has been home to the North Peace Fall Fair and countless cherished memories for over 75 years. The passion and dedication of the volunteers from the North Peace Fall Fair Society has made the North Peace Fall Fair what it is today," notes a press release.
"As we embark on this exciting journey of developing a master plan for the NPRP, we look forward to continuing this legacy of community involvement and collaboration. Together, we can shape a future for the park that honours its rich history and meets the evolving needs of communities in the region," they add.
Ideas from stakeholder and residents is being sought through an online survey available until April 8, and an input workshop will be hosted on April 2 from 6 to 7:15pm by video conference, an input workshop will be hosted in-person in Dawson Creek on April 3 from 6 to 7:30pm, and another in-person workshop will be hosted in Fort St. John on April 4 from 6 to 7:30pm - you can register for the workshops by clicking here.
