The Fort St. John say one man is in custody, following a report of an in-progress commercial break and enter into a business located on the 9400 block of 100th Street on Jan. 6.

Frontline officers attended and found that entry to the business had been made through a smashed glass front door, explained a press release. The officers then entered the business and located the suspect, who attempted to hide from police.

The suspect, Michael Underhill, was then arrested without incident, they added. Underhill is facing one charge of break and enter with intent, and has been remanded into police custody until Jan. 17, when he will appear in court.
