It turns out there was a reason for this red truck to be parked precariously on a ridge.
Kamloops Mounties have determined it was stolen.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says an officer went out to Red Lake Road in the Lac du Bois grasslands yesterday (Nov. 27) to check on it.
It was reported stolen in Kamloops on Nov. 20, she tells KamloopsMatters.
The owner of the truck has been notified about the location of their vehicle, she adds.
"It’s now up to the ICBC and the owner to discuss how to recover it," Shelkie says.
The truck is perched on a ridge, with a drop of around 100 m on one side, according to Travis Bussard's Facebook post. He posted a photo of the truck earlier this week.
KamloopsMatters wrote about the truck a couple of days ago (Nov. 26). At the time, police had not visited the site.
