Parolee on lam for second time

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a parolee who failed to return to his halfway house. It's the second time this year Vincent Albert Martin, 39, has been on the lam.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a parolee who failed to return to his halfway house.

It's the second time this year Vincent Albert Martin, 39, has been on the lam. In February, about a week after police sent out a bulletin, he was was found in Sorrento, near Salmon Arm, after a driver recognized him as he was hitchhiking.

This time, Martin has not been seen since Aug. 21.

He is described as mixed race, 183 cm (6'0") tall and weighing 93 kg (205 lbs), balding black hair, brown eyes, mustache and beard. He may have a goatee.

In November 2015, he was sentenced to 732 days in jail for two counts of break and enter and committing an indictable offence, committed in Prince George.

Martin is considered violent and should not be confronted. Instead, contact RCMP immediately.
