Timberwolves fall to Thunderbirds in Canada West mens basketball

The UNBC Timberwolves men's basketball team took on the UBC Thunderbirds in the second game of their weekend doubleheader on Saturday at Northern Sport Centre.

The UNBC Timberwolves men's basketball team took on the UBC Thunderbirds in the second game of their weekend doubleheader on Saturday at Northern Sport Centre.

After the final buzzer had sounded the Timberwolves were on the wrong end of a 88-66 score.

Grant Sheppard led the way for the Thunderbirds scoring 21 points in the victory while Tyrell Laing with the top scorer for UNBC with 22 points.

The UNBC Timberwolves now sit with a record of 3-3 while the UBC Thunderbirds record improves to 4-2.
