The Prince George Spruce Kings added an Alberta forward with a homegrown link to their ranks Tuesday.

The BCHL squad has acquired Stefan Bazar from the Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in exchange for future considerations. The Edmonton native is righthanded five-foot-ten and 180 pound forward who recorded 15 points, including six goals, in 16 games this season.

He played Midget AAA hockey in Prince George from 2006-2008.

"I'm excited that we were able to add a solid player like Stefan to our lineup," said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes. "He is a good all-around player with tremendous speed and good offensive abilities. Adding Stefan improves our depth up front and gives us another offensive weapon."
