Paulson, Paciejewski bounced from world lacrosse championship

Leif Paulson of Prfince George was held to one assist in a 12-10 playoff loss to Austria which eliminated Sweden at the world indoor lacrosse championship Thursday in Langley. Paulson, 31, collected a goal and two assists fr Sweden in a 17-10 loss to Germany on Wednesday. He also contributed three assists in a 12-11 win over Switzerland in a placement round pllayoff on Tuesday.

Cole Paciejewski and Team Scotland were also lost a final playoff game Wednesday morning 29-5 to Australia. The Australians built a 22-5 lead in the first two quarters and shut out Scotland the rest of the game. Paciejewski was held to one goal as his team was outshot 60-25 in the game.
On Tuesday, in a 12-10 playoff win over Scotland the 26-year-old from Prince George picked up a goal and two assists Tuesday to help the Scots to their second win of the tournament.
In the championship pool, Canada (4-0) will pllay England in a semifinal tonight at 8 p.m. Iroquois Nationals (3-1) was playing the United States in the other semifnal in Langley.
