On Friday, July 12th, Teresa Fisher celebrated her 100th birthday, with friends, family and staff of UHNBC, The Auxiliary ( who by chance are also celebrating their 100th year of service to our hospital) were also in attendance to present Teresa with flowers.
As a member of the Auxiliary and longtime resident of Prince George, I just want to thank the staff of the Family Medical Unit for their wonderful nursing and care of the patients who are patiently waiting for placement in care homes. The staff and Jackie from social services took it upon themselves to arrange this party for Teresa, with decorations and treats, outside of their regular duties. Thank you for taking the time and for being you!
