As a Canadian, I find myself questioning if Canadian journalists are spending too much time reporting on United States events.
President Donald Trump seems to be in Canadian news on a daily basis. I believe that the exposure he received during the USMCA (United States Mexico Canada Agreement) actually worked against Canada. We ended up signing a agreement that is substandard when compared with NAFTA. The Canadian media seemed to be pushing for our government to sign this agreement no matter what.
When one looks at the issues happening right now (provincial and federal byelections and the pipelines), it's time for Canadian reporters to report on Canadian events.
