The last Citizen poll asked "will Trevor Linden's departure as president of the Vancouver Canucks help or hurt the team?"

Just like a close hockey game with lots of end-to-end action readers were evenly divided on the help/hurt scale the poll offered for options.

Coming in as top scorer with 29 per cent and 178 votes was the answer "help - more management experience needed at the top," while with 27 per cent and 165 votes was "hurt - nobody knows the team or the market like he does."

On the flipside, coming in at 26 per cent and 163 votes was "help - nothing but failure during his tenure," and finally trailing like a tired defenceman was "hurt - he's planted the seeds for a Cup contender" at 19 per cent and 115 votes.

There was a total of 621 votes. Remember, this is not a scientific poll.

Next Citizen poll question asks "who would you like to see at Cariboo Rocks The North 2019?"
