A 49-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries Monday afternoon.
Prince George RCMP and other emergency services responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 16 at about 4 p.m..
The driver was traveling westbound on Highway 16 on a green light at the time of the collision, according to evidence from the scene and multiple witness accounts, police said in a statement.
